Mumbai girls registered a comprehensive victory against Tripura
and won their second match of the ongoing senior women’s domestic T20
tournament that was played in Lucknow on Sunday. Manali Dakshini (3-15) and
child prodigy Fatima Jaffer (2-11) rattled the Tripura batting line up and
restricted them to a paltry 80-7 in 20 overs. It was an easy chase for Mumbai
as they chased down the target in 14.3 overs keeping seven wickets in hand. Mugdha
Joshi (29) and Mumbai skipper Sunetra Paranjape (20) helped Mumbai to achieve a
comfortable win. Mumbai will play its next match against Uttar Pradesh on 4th
January.
