Mumbai women’s cricket team has so far remained invincible
in the ongoing senior women’s domestic T20 tournament. Mumbai registered its
fourth consecutive victory on Wednesday; when they achieved a 7-run win over
Vidarbha at Lucknow. Sheral Rozario (38) and Bhakti Tamore (37) helped Mumbai
to post 96-8 on board. Though the target seemed to be an easy one, Mumbai
bowlers bowled their hearts out and restricted Vidarbha to 89-2. Bowling is not
just about picking wickets, but is also about containment. This was proved by
the khadoos bowling prowess of
Mumbai. Mumbai has qualified for the super league, which commences from 11th
January. Mumbai girls will have to continue their winning streak to ensure an
Elite Group seat next year.
